It's more fun in the Philippines is the recently launched slogan of Department of Tourism. I think this is one of the few effective slogans that gained public interest. It triggered the creativity of the Filipinos and the results can be seen online. Just search "itsmorefuninthephilippines" on twitter.
After seeing the floods of awesome images, I searched my photostream and looked for photos that I could use for this tourism campaign. One problem though, I didn't know how to place the wordings on the photos as I don't have a photoshop software. But thanks to pixlr and May.
And since I came from the Visayas, most of my images were taken in our island. My way of saying, it's fun in our island too. Every June, Mudpack Festival is held at Mambucal, Negros Occidental.
Bacolod City is known as the City of Smiles as MassKara Festival is celebrated every October.
And our island is known for sabong!
Hope you enjoyed my contributions!
It's about time for you to visit and have fun in the Philippines.
Book the next flight available. I can be your tour guide, if the price is right. LOL!

ReplyDeleteGawa ka na din! :-)
ReplyDeleteMy mom came from Visayas too, Bacolod to be exact. And I've been to the area for a few times na rin when I was younger.. :) Love the photos! And I can so relate to the sabong photo. My dad is a solid sabongero and even as early as 4am, gusto ko ng i-snooze yung mga manok niya kung pwede lang.. haha.. :))
ReplyDelete@Sumi, you should visit Bacolod again :-) There are lots of food / resto that you can review. :-)
ReplyDeleteI love your photos!! And you're very welcome. :D Your "t-back" photo is getting raves on site, woohoo!! My new faves on this set are facial and alarm clock. What's awesome about this campaign is that we get to contribute. So much fun!
ReplyDeleteThanks May! Yes, everyone can contribute and play with the slogan. We can add more !!! :-)
