It's quite a small country and it didn't have much to offer as compared to the previous places we've been. I can still say it was a good experience though a bit awkward seeing locals staring at our cameras. It's a quiet place, almost an empty one.
Now, I am trying to remember what exactly had happened during our adventure here. We just kept on walking and luckily (?) saw a group doing a glamour photoshoot. I think this was one of the memorable parts. It seems I completely flushed all the memories of Luxembourg down the drain. Ha ha!
Perhaps we were enjoying our own craziness, just kept on eating, drinking and shooting despite the silence and formality of Luxembourg that evening quickly came by. All we can say after was, That's it?
Will I return to Luxembourg? Yes, only to experience that carbonara once again.
And just when I thought Luxembourg is the most boring part of our trip, Thionville took the centerstage. Now I am thinking whether to write about it or not.

Every city can be boring but then you turn into one more side street and a new adventure beckons you.
ReplyDeleteThanks OE! that's why we just enjoy every single minute there lol
DeleteI love the first photo. :) Cool perspective. Haven't been to Luxembourg but I'd love to see it in the near future. I find most European cities I've been to sleepy, but that adds to their charm.
ReplyDeleteThat's the perfect definition I guess! sleepy! lol
Deleteahhh, i am always bored in a city trip Jon, regardless of architecture and history, somehow, living in the city, I always wanted to escape and just be one in nature. I will never get bored if I will be in the middle of the deep blue sea, but I know, I am not a fish and cannot last living underwater. So I cure that frustration with experiencing nature away from civilization. But you always take good pictures.
ReplyDeleteso that's why you need me to bring to some nature hikes and trips :-)
Deletethat picture with the mask over the guys face was creepy. that's glamorous?
ReplyDeletesenryu of blues & honesty
yes it's still glamorous!
DeleteI love this nice little story about Luxembourg. Your photo's are awesome.
ReplyDeleteThanks! it wasn't my favorite travel but I'll take it
DeleteI think that you have captured architectural charm and simple beauty in these photos. Maybe your "That's it" means that you may need to go back and visit another time.
ReplyDeleteHow fortunate you have been to see so many places!
Yeah, I think so. Maybe Luxembourg needs a second visit :-)
DeleteThanks Archna!
You never know what hides around the corner!
ReplyDeleteDefinitely. Might check it again :-)
DeleteBwahahaha! Carbonara talaga e ... the glam shoot looked really nice
ReplyDeletesarap kasi nung carbonara e lol
DeleteI love the photos! It's such a shame though that Luxembourg didn't have much to offer to travelers. I wanted to visit Luxembourg before just to see the richest country in the world. But although it seems quite boring for adventurers, I think I'd like to have a photoshoot there.. :D I'm not so sure if the place is really picturesque, or you just photographed it beautifully :)
ReplyDeleteactually the place is good but it's too formal for me haha. photoshoot would be fine, it's a small country but there are lots of places to do a shoot actually
DeleteI'll right away clutch your rss as I can not to find your email subscription link or e-newsletter service. Do you have any? Kindly let me understand in order that I may subscribe. Thanks.
