2013.
How time flies. Since I am still on vacation, I was able to look back on the photos I took last 2012. Every place I go, I'll turn it into a photographer's paradise. Photography will always be a part of me and of this blog. And from thousands of photos I took last year, here are my 12 personal favorites (with blogs to some of it).
missed by naked eyes
chorus of flashing shutters
frozen forever
YOKOHAMA. My favorite city and the first place I've lived in Japan. Got the chance to visit it again last June and it brought back lots of memories. Took this photo handheld. NikonD7000 high ISO didn't disappoint.
ECLIPSE. I can still remember how pissed I was when the skies were covered with clouds during eclipse. It turned out, however, to be a blessing in disguise. It added drama to the shot. Taken last May.
KYOTO. If ever you are in Japan. YOU MUST GO TO KYOTO. That is all. Taken last October.
MAJESTY. Last August, I climbed Mt. Fuji - that is 3,776 m above sea level. Will I do it again next year? Nope. I already survived it.
AUTUMN. This year, I bought a new macro lens since my old one is not compatible with NikonD700. Macro lens is still my favorite lens. This was taken in Korea during my vacation last November.
AIRPORT. May of this year, it was also my first time to go to China for a business trip. Glad that I brought my fish-eye lens to capture its vastness.
TIE. Being a salaryman is no joke especially if you are required to wear a tie every single day. Thanks to ready to wear ties though.
SUMMER. You've got to love summer season in Japan around August. Loved the chaos, contrast of this photo. You can see Tokyo's Sky Tree at the background.
HAMAORISAI. I've been looking forward to be a witness of this festival from the moment I saw one of my flickr contacts uploaded a photo of it. Then it happened July of this year . Amazing tradition.
STACEY. It's been a while since my last model shoot. This year I got a chance to have one last December. I really wanted to blog about the shoot but I didn't have enough time.
TAKAYAMA. For a while, I thought I was not in Japan but in a tropical paradise. Would love to visit it during winter as it promises a different kingdom but to no avail. Taken last September.
MASSKARA. Rain or shine, the festivities continued. This is MassKara - our city of smiles' festival every October.
For 2013, I hope for more photo opportunities and to abuse to my other new lens, 50 mm 1.4f.
Keep on shooting! Keep on blogging everyone!
