6

I was jobless when I started blogging. That was six years ago, March 9, 2007 to be exact. Though there is a steady decline on the total number of posts each year, I am proud to say that I have at least one entry per month - a total of 72 consecutive months of distilling thoughts.

There was a point I thought totomai.net aka Distilling Thoughts is turning into a travel blog as I have been writing about my travels abroad (courtesy of business trips) and around Japan. But in each entry, I still see to it that I include photo(s). This is a personal / photo blog after all.

As I start another year of distilling thoughts, and despite the pressures and demands of my profession, I promise that I will not break the only achievement I have on this blog - that is to have at least one entry entry per month. Instinct says with or without a job, I must continue writing and taking photos. Thanks everyone for being a part of this online refinery, a place where I distill my brain and filter my camera's precipitates.

    Happy Sixth Birthday to You indeed! To continue blogging without a break for six years is a good accomplishment. You've figured out what most of us have, that not to blog is unthinkable, it is not just what we do, it is part of who we are. Great job here... wonderful, interesting posts!
