Before the month of May ended, weather forecasts showed that Japan will welcome June with series of rains. The weather seems unpredictable though. It's already the 7th of June but it's still sunny and warm all over Japan. And I have no problem with that.
dashing droplets drain
blinding lights, a weeping city
a transparent shield
Perhaps in a week or two, the Land of the Rising Sun will be totally wet. And I will have no choice but to carry an umbrella. And just like with the picture above, expect the re-appearance of transparent umbrellas. I found these umbrellas to be fascinating. You can see the droplets kissing the shields. You can see the city lights, the city blur. Awesome. Whoever thought of this idea, arigatou! (thank you)
I am not sure when's the rain gonna cool our heads. Hopefully it will before the summer sun finally takes over for two months.
When it rains, it's June. Not now though.

Lovely photograph. I've always thought transparent umbrellas rather anomalous. When dry, you can see where you're going, but when you really need it, the rain blurs your vision.
ReplyDeletei think the beauty of transparent umbrells pops when it's wet lol
DeleteOccasionally it is good to be rained on too, so long as you are headed home at the time.
ReplyDeletei agree. but you just have to be ready with your suit lol
Deleteit is a mystery... what is happening behind that umbrella... like all photographs.. the viewers decide...
ReplyDeletethey were actually having a confrontation of who will go home with me that night haha
DeleteI've never viewed a transparent umbrella in the way you described it. Now, I shall never forget! Good imagery...

Delete:) We had a spell of those transparent umbrellas a while back also. Sure, it is time for them to reappear. I suppose they cost more to make?
ReplyDelete..
i am not sure but in japan they are the cheapest
DeleteI like the look of those transparent umbrellas, and I am disappointed I didn't noticed any in my part of the world the last time it rained. Hope I notice some this week, its going to be wet.
ReplyDeletewho knows transparent umbrellas will invade your country
